What does handover cleaning actually involve?
We remove dust, cement residue, glue and paint splashes, clean floors, walls, windows, doors and skirting, dust cupboards, pipework, sockets and ventilation grilles, clean sanitary fittings and kitchens, take away small building waste and machine-treat floors where needed. The result is a building ready for final inspection or handover to the client.
Do you also do the interim site cleaning?
Certainly. A clean site is a safe site. We clear small site waste, rubble and refuse, keep floors dust-free and look after access routes, site offices and sanitary units — full time with a permanent operative or periodically with a fixed crew, weekly for instance.
Do you also work for clients, developers and property managers?
Yes. Most jobs come from the main contractor, but building owners, developers and property managers can come to us directly — for the whole project or just the common areas. For upkeep after handover you work with VediCare, our brand for common areas.
What kinds of buildings do you take on?
Residences, offices, schools, care homes and hospitals, police buildings, industry and logistics. Since 2016 we have completed more than 550 projects; over 180 of them appear with photo and details on our references page — from a single apartment building to a prison village of 116,000 m².
When is the best time to schedule the handover clean?
After all the finishing trades are out and before the final inspection. Ask for your quote as soon as your planning takes shape: we then reserve the crews for you. On phased projects we follow your phasing block by block, floor by floor or unit by unit.
What if the handover date moves?
Then we move with it. Construction planning shifts — our organisation is built for that. You let your contact know and we reschedule, with no argument about the price.
Do we get a fixed team on site?
Yes. A fixed team, no changing faces. That team knows the building, the agreements and the quality requirements, and is followed up by one point of contact at Vedinet who guides your project from start to finish.
Can your people work independently on site?
Yes. Our staff know the safety rules on construction sites, have the required PPE and work independently after a short induction briefing.
Do you touch up after the final inspection?
Yes. We walk the building with you before the final inspection and touch up where needed. Remarks that come up during handover we deal with on a time-and-materials basis.
How do you arrive at a price?
From your drawings, bill of quantities or window schedule. We measure the surfaces and the glazing ourselves — you need to prepare nothing. You get a quote with the items you recognise: private units, common areas, glazing, car park, site facilities, phased wherever your planning requires.
Can you quote without a site visit?
For a clearly described project with drawings that usually works. If there is doubt, a complex facade or an existing building, we come by — always without obligation.
Is the glazing a separate item in the quote?
Yes. Window cleaning is always a separate item, with the number of m² or windows from your schedule. That makes it easy to pass on or order separately. The same goes for the car park and the site facilities.
How quickly can you step in for an emergency?
When a handover threatens to go off the rails, we try to free up a crew within 24 to 48 hours. In that case call 0499 76 01 10 straight away — the earlier you call, the better the chance we make the date.
Do you work across Belgium?
Yes. Vedinet is based in Tielt-Winge (Flemish Brabant) and works across the whole of Belgium, with no geographic limit. We have delivered projects in Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Hasselt, Bruges, Charleroi and Louvain-la-Neuve, among others.
How do you avoid scratches when cleaning glass?
We work exclusively with top-quality professional equipment and with staff trained in safe techniques. If our team does spot a scratch during the work, we stop immediately and report it. Depending on the building we use osmosis, access platforms and telescopic systems, or rope access.
Can you keep cleaning after handover?
Yes. For offices we do that ourselves; for the common areas of apartment buildings you work with VediCare, where the property manager gets a digital dashboard and a QR reporting point.
